Genesis 14:12, 14-20
They also took Lot, Abram’s nephew,
and his possessions and departed;
now he was living in Sodom.
So Abram heard that his relative had been taken captive,
and he led out his trained men, born in his house, 318 in number, and went in pursuit as far as Dan.
And he divided his men against them by night, he and his servants,
and struck them and pursued them
as far as Hobah, which is north of Damascus.
And he brought back
all the possessions,
and he also brought back his relative Lot
with his possessions and also the women
and the people.
Melchizedek Blesses Abram
Then after he came back from striking down Chedorlaomer and the kings who were with him,
the king of Sodom went out to meet him at the valley of Shaveh (that is, the King’s Valley).
And Melchizedek king of Salem brought out bread and wine; now he was a priest of God Most High.
Then he blessed him and said, “Blessed be Abram of God Most High, Possessor of heaven and earth;
And blessed be God Most High, Who has delivered your enemies into your hand.”
Then
he gave him a tenth of all.
Genesis 28:12-16, 20-22
Then he (Jacob) had a dream, and behold, a ladder stood on the earth with its top touching heaven; and behold, the angels of God were ascending and descending on it. And behold, Yahweh stood above it and said, “I am Yahweh, the God of your father Abraham and the God of Isaac; the land on which you lie,
I will give it to you and to your seed.
And your seed will also be like the dust of the earth, and you will spread out to the west and to the east and to the north and to the south;
and in you
and in your seed
all the families of the earth shall be blessed.
Behold, I am with you and will keep you wherever you go. And I will bring you back to this land;
for I will not forsake you
until I have done what I have promised you.”
Then Jacob awoke from his sleep and said, “Surely Yahweh is in this place, and I did not know it.”
Then Jacob made a vow, saying,
“If
God will be with me and will keep me on this journey on which I am going,
and will give me food to eat and garments to wear,
and I return to my father’s house in peace,
then
Yahweh will be my God. Now this stone, which I have set up as a pillar, will be God’s house, and of all that You give me
I will surely give a tenth to You.”
(Abraham and Jacob was a heart giving
then it became law,
tax collectors aka thieves came to collect!)
AND THEN TITHE BECAME MOSAIC LAW.
(The kings sent the tax collectors to gather the tithe)
Malachi 2:2
If you do not listen, and if you do not set it upon
your heart to give
honor to My name,”
says Yahweh of hosts, “then I will send the curse upon you, and I will curse your blessings;
and indeed, I have cursed them already because
you are not setting it upon your heart.
Galatians 3:10-13
For as many as are of the works of the Law
are under a curse,
for it is written,
“Cursed is everyone who does not abide by all things written in the book of the law, to do them.”
Now that no one is justified by the Law before God is evident, for “The righteous shall live by faith.”
However, the Law is not of faith;
rather, “He who does them shall live by them.”
Christ redeemed us from the curse of the Law, having become a curse for us—for it is written, “Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree”—
Mark 12:13-17
Then they sent some of the Pharisees and Herodians to Him in order to
trap (trickery)Him in a statement.
And they came and said to Him,
“Teacher, we know that You are truthful and defer to no one;
for You are not partial to any,
but teach the way of God in truth.
Is it lawful to pay a tax to Caesar, or not?
Shall we pay or shall we not pay?”
But He, knowing their hypocrisy, (bound by law) said to them,
“Why are you testing Me?
Bring Me a denarius to look at.” And they brought one. And He said to them, “Whose likeness and inscription is this?” And they said to Him, “Caesar’s.” And Jesus said to them, “Render to Caesar the things that are Caesar’s, and to God the things that are God’s.”
And they were amazed at Him.
Matthew 17:24-27
Now when they came to Capernaum,
those who collected the two-drachma tax came to Peter and said,
“Does your teacher not pay the two-drachma tax?”
He said, “Yes.” And when he came into the house,
Jesus spoke to him first, saying,
“What do you think, Simon?
From whom do the kings of the earth collect tolls or taxes,
from their sons or from strangers?”
And when Peter said, “From strangers,”
Jesus said to him,
"THEN THE SONS ARE EXEMPT.
However, so that we
do not offend them,
go to the sea
and throw in a hook,
and take the first fish that comes up;
and when you open its mouth,
you will find a stater.
Take that
and give it to them
for Me and you.”
(Not From Their Pocket, but from a fish-)

Matthew 6:3
But when you give to the poor, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing.
2 Corinthians 9:6-8, 10-15
Now this I say,
he who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly,
and he who sows with blessing will also reap with blessing.
Each one must do just as he has purposed in his heart,
not grudgingly
or
under compulsion,
for God loves a cheerful giver.
And God is able to make every grace abound to you,
so that in everything
at every time
having every sufficiency,
you may have an abundance
for every good deed;
Now He who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will supply and multiply your seed and increase the harvest of your righteousness;
you will be enriched in everything for all generosity,
which through us is bringing about thanksgiving to God.
For the ministry of this service is not only fully supplying the needs of the saints, but is also abounding through many thanksgivings to God.
Because of the proven character given by this ministry,
they will glorify God for your obedience to your confession of the gospel of Christ and for the generosity of your fellowship toward them and toward all,
while they also,
by prayer on your behalf, long for you because of the surpassing grace of God on you.
Thanks be to God for His indescribable gift!
Hallelujah!! All Glory to The Father in The Name of Yeshua!
