9.21.24
Matthew 8:23-27 

And when He got into the boat, 
His disciples followed Him.

And behold, there arose a great storm 
(obstacles, oppression, evil, wicked, foolishness)

on the sea, so that the boat was being covered with the waves; 
(Losing hope, faith, trust, belief)

but Jesus Himself was sleeping.
(Being Tested, 
Show yourself, APPROVED)

And they came to Him and got Him up, saying, 
“Save us, Lord; we are perishing!” 
(Drowning in Despair,  
Last Shred of Hope)

And He *said to them,

(NOTE: HOW THE LORD RESPONDS!!!) 

“Why are you so cowardly,

(BOOM!!! DON'T GET YOUR FEELINGS HURT, HE'S JUST IN HIS SAYING!!!)

you men of little faith?”
(MHM, SOME MORE TRUTH!!!)

Then He got up and rebuked the winds and the sea, and it became perfectly calm. 
(ALL IS GOOD ALL ALONG, PREPLANNED, HE KNEW A STORM WAS BREWING AND DEMANDED THEY GET ON THE BOAT ANYHOW!!!)

And the men marveled, and said, “What kind of a man is this, 

(PAY ATTENTION)
"that even "

the winds 
and the sea 

obey Him?”

(MHM, EVEN THE,  
winds and sea OBEYS HIM, 
SO WHY AREN'T WE!
