9.21.24
Matthew 8:28-34
And when He came to the other side,
(Made it through)
into the region of the Gadarenes, two men who were demon-possessed
(and Now this)
met Him as they were coming out of the tombs.
(Death, Darkness, Despair)
They were so extremely violent
(Call it what it is)
that no one could pass by that way.
(No One)
And behold, they cried out, saying,
“What do we have to do with You, Son of God?
(They Know Him)
Have You come here to torment us before the time?”
(THEY KNOW HIM,
TO TORMENT,
THE WICKED..🤔REPENT!!)
Now there was a herd of many swine feeding at a distance from them.
(Staying Silent, minding their own, being Distant from Him)
And the demons began to plead with Him,
(BEGGING, FOR MERCY)
saying, “If You are going to cast us out, send us into the herd of swine.”
(Be of sober spirit, be watchful. Your adversary, the devil, prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour. 1 Peter 5:8)
And He said to them, “Go!”
And coming out, they went into the swine; and behold, the whole herd rushed down the steep bank into the sea and perished in the waters.
(Without Knowledge, staying silent, minding our own, being cowards, We Perish)
Now the herdsmen ran away, and went to the city and reported everything,
including what had happened to the demoniacs.
(Calling it what it is)
And behold, the whole city came out to meet Jesus;
and when they saw Him,
they pleaded with Him
(just like the demons did)
to leave their region.
(Told Him to GO!
JUST AS HE DID the demons!!!
EVEN THOUGH
NO MAN
INCLUDING THEM
COULD HAVE PASSED BY WITHOUT HIM)
Can't get to the other side,
can't make it through,
without HIM!!!
