Rested.

And on the seventh day God ended His work which He had done, and He rested on the seventh day from all His work which He had done. Then God blessed the seventh day and sanctified it, because in it He rested from all His work which God had created and made.

Genesis 2:2‭-‬3

With the Lord a day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years are like a day. 

2Peter 3:8 

In the beginning when God created the heavens and earth; He was first in deep thought. The depths of His thought filled the heavens and the earth, into the deep, His thought went. How many thousands of years was it to complete each day in the detail He spent pondering to call it a day? So, in six days He took to create the world within thousands of years of thought; He created rest on the seventh to enjoy all He created. His Rest Remains. 

We too, must learn, the patience and significance of planning, timing and rest to enjoy the work accomplished and remember to take His Rest with us in our week, living day by day, because He remains in it; We must be sensitive to His Spirit for evil to move out of the way.
